2025 Annual Report

In 2025, Texas Trees Foundation continued its mission to create healthier, more resilient communities through the power of urban forestry. Working alongside partners, volunteers, educators, and community leaders, we expanded tree planting initiatives, strengthened environmental education programs, and advanced research that supports sustainable urban development across North Texas.

This year, our work focused on increasing urban tree canopy, improving access to green spaces, and addressing the impacts of heat and environmental inequity in our communities. Through strategic plantings, community engagement, and data-driven planning, we helped neighborhoods become cooler, greener, and more livable.

Our education programs empowered students, teachers, and residents with the knowledge and tools to care for trees and understand the vital role they play in public health, climate resilience, and community well-being. At the same time, our research and planning initiatives continued to inform city leaders and regional partners about the long-term benefits of urban forests.

None of this work would be possible without the support of our dedicated volunteers, donors, and partners. Together, we are cultivating a greener future for North Texas—one tree, one neighborhood, and one generation at a time.
