President’s Day Tree Tender Event
We spent this Presidents’ Day at our TXU Energy Urban Tree Farm and Education Center with a great turn out of more than 15 volunteers from Halff Associates, Inc., InterNations, and Snooze, an A.M.! Our volunteers put down tree staging mats, helped install post and cable stabilization system, put down tree mulching, and did some pruning.
Many, many thanks to everyone who came out to lend a helping hand! We really accomplished a lot through our Tree Tender events with volunteers like these.
It was a Saturday well spent with this bunch of old and new faces of all ages. It’s never a bad time to tend to a tree and we are so grateful for the work done by the volunteers!

What a great group of tree tenders we had for this January volunteer event at the TXU Energy Urban Tree Farm and Education Center!
Thanks to all the helping hands who helped us prepare the tree staging tarp and remove old drip lines so that we could move forward and prepare for new improvements at the tree farm!
