Jacqueline Casarez-Singh
Cool Schools Engagement Coordinator
Jackie joins the Cool Schools Program team with a wealth of experience as a Community Conservation Fellow, where she helped with outreach and engagement. She started out her career in the library as a youth programmer, creating diverse programs for teenagers, including anything from arts and crafts to engaging STEM projects. She has always loved being outdoors - some of her hobbies include hiking and camping. Because of that passion, she decided to transition into the environmental field, and pursued a second bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. She is happy to be working in urban forestry and is grateful to have made her way to Texas Trees Foundation.
She enjoys the writing, education, and photography aspects of her work at the Texas Trees Foundation and an important phrase for her is “grow where you’re planted” – in addition to – “work hard play hard!”
