It was an honor to help celebrate UNT Dallas' Arbor Day yesterday with University President, Bob Mong, and some passionate students! We hope they enjoyed getting their hands dirty at the celebration!
Here at the Texas Trees Foundation, we aim to educate the public on tree-related benefits and were happy to have Matt Grubisich speaking on behalf of the Foundation at UNT Dallas regarding the importance of trees in urban spaces. We hope we planted a seed of tree wisdom for students on campus for generations to come.

DCCCD Sustainability Summit and Arbor Day
It was a great time to be a part of the Richland College’s Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) Sustainability Summit with an Arbor Day celebration! What better way to celebrate arbor day, than to plant trees?
Guests also got a walking tour of the TXU Energy Urban Tree Farm and Education Center with some tree education to finish of this tree-rific day!
