It was an honor to have been part of the Texan by Nature Conservation Wranglers Summit at the George W. Bush Presidential Center! We met former first lady Laura W. Bush and other leaders in sustainability from across Texas and got their praise and support behind our Cool Schools program!
We were thankful to have Dan D. Roger’s Elementary principal Lisa Lovato out to speak to the first-hand benefits of our program for students and staff! While presenting the Cool Schools program, our messages gained support for the betterment of school communities’ health, as well as highlighted information about trees and the benefits of social-emotional learning.
