Lannie is committed to improving communities and planning for vibrant spaces through the implementation of green infrastructure and sustainable design. With over twenty years of experience, she has a passion for creating private and public spaces where people and nature can coexist. As a registered landscape architect, she seeks to advance the SWMD Harry Hines Green Corridor and Park into a realized project that connects the benefits of health and nature.

Utilizing her skills in private, public, and non-profit sectors, she has added value to the built environment both locally and internationally. Her career journey has been strengthened by working for the City of Fort Worth Parks and Recreation Department along with creating exceptional places with the SWA Group in Dallas. She has worked on multi-disciplinary teams on project opportunities ranging in scale from corporate headquarters, resorts, medical campuses, masterplans, planned communities, arboretums, and local parks. Lannie has also stewarded the profession by teaching landscape construction classes as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Arlington. Transferring her passion to the non-profit sector, Lannie connected children to the great outdoors through building experiential learning spaces at economically disadvantaged schools with Out-Teach before joining the Texas Trees Foundation team in 2020.

Lannie studied at Texas Tech University and the University of Texas at Arlington receiving an undergraduate and master’s degree in landscape architecture.
