This Dallas tree planting and giveaway at Lawnview Park is part of the South Dallas Greening Initiative (funded by the USDA - Forest Service) and in partnership with the City of Dallas and the Dallas Parks & Rec department, focused on expanding urban canopy and reducing extreme heat in historically under-resourced neighborhoods. Join us to volunteer and help grow a healthier, more resilient South Dallas. Come claim your free tree to increase the canopy and improve the wellness of your neighborhood.
