COMMUNITY VISIONING SURVEY RESULTS
The online community visioning survey closed on July 11th, and we had incredible participation! More than 1,100 community members took the survey! The survey asked a multitude of questions about the existing challenges on Harry Hines, the opportunities to create a better campus environment, and what YOUR vision is for the Harry Hines! Thank you to everyone who participated!
We heard from employees, patients, visitors, business owners, and residents that live in and around the District. 39% of whom have lived or worked there for more than 10 years!
We are working hard to analyze the survey results, but some important findings have risen to the surface.
First, the survey shows that community members want to use alternative modes of transportation (walking, biking, and riding shuttle) in the District beyond just driving. Second, an astounding 80% of respondents identified safety improvements as a major priority for the Project. And lastly, we found that incorporating and enhancing nature was a priority, with 70% of respondents wanting the District to be a place for nature. If you responded to the survey, be sure to check your email because we will be announcing the winners of the four $50 gifts cards next week!
