Torin Dunnavant 

Executive Director

Torin Dunnavant is the executive director of Tree Davis, a role that he took on in November of 2022. Prior to that, he worked at Sacramento Tree Foundation and TreePeople in Los Angeles. Before participating with urban forestry, Torin studied rhetoric at San Francisco State University, and coached college debate for several years. While he has an affinity for trees, his primary focus is on community engagement and growing equity through neighborhood-based leadership. As a Sacramento native, he has seen how trees truly make our communities more whole.
